Testimonials

Hear from our Educational Stage Alumni.

“Arc Stages has been, without a doubt, the most supportive and nurturing theater environment I’ve been a part of. I always felt safe throughout the rehearsal processes and really appreciated the way in which I was simultaneously pushed out of my comfort zone and supported and encouraged throughout every step of the way.”

“We got to perform shows that I have never seen offered for kids, or even really often performed at all. Being able to dive into these shows with a passionate staff was remarkable. The smaller cast sizes and individual attention helped make everyone not only feel important but BE important to the success of the show. The shows were, of course, great. However the process of arriving to the show – of really doing the work to make sure you not only know but understand your lines – that made it special.”

“I remember when I first started at Arc Stages, I was never the first person to jump on stage and try something. But by the end of my four years there, I was always the first person to volunteer; whether it was in an acting exercise or singing my audition song at SummerStage. Arc Stages definitely helped foster my ability to just jump into things, especially things that were brand new to me. This has impacted me so much and helped guide my career in stage management.”

“Throughout middle school I was fairly shy and struggled to speak up. When I got to high school and participated in my first Teen production at Arc Stages, Band Geeks, I was introduced to some of the nicest upperclassmen castmates, who truly welcomed me as a freshman. That experience boosted my confidence to speak up not only at Arc Stages, but elsewhere in my life as well.”
